Apply to join a Gator Ready Committee
The Gator Ready team is currently looking for prospective undergraduates to join us in helping the school develop their soft skill competencies! Students will have the opportunity to select one or more committees they’re interested in, depending on their own interests and career goals. Committees help the Gator Ready ambassador team stay organized and ahead of the several responsibilities we take care of. This includes managing our relationships with 50+ student organizations, 5+ Heavener programs, and more.

Gator Ready ambassadors dive headfirst into the importance of competency development, which allows them to speak about the subject on a higher level to recruiters. Additionally, the Gator Ready team seeks to find a role for everyone depending on their own personal interests; regardless of your major, we’ll find a fit for you. Our adaptive structure means that all ambassadors on our team have the freedom to create any idea they can think of, we’ll give you the means to make it a reality. We’re a great way to get involved in the college at your own pace and level.
How to apply
The Gator Ready Ambassador application will be open on a rolling basis. Students will be expected to answer free response questions, include their resume, and be prepared for communication in the following week about their application status moving forward as well as any additional steps.
There are no stringent requirements in regard to a student’s year, major, or in-person status. All UF students may apply. We look forward to hearing from you!
