Next Practices Live: Managing Regulation panel on June 23, 2020

COVID-19 has made it traditional methods for managing regulation and for engaging stakeholders. But the pandemic also made management and engage more important than ever! What have people tried? What have they learned?

Two respected regulators joined Next Practices Live to share their thoughts and experiences. Both are recent PURC alumni. Commissioner Ram Prasad Dhital is with the Nepal Electricity Regulatory Commission. He was previously executive director of the Alternative Energy Promotion Center in Kathmandu. Before that he was an Energy Advisor with the Vanuatu Energy for Rural Development Program in Vanuatu and National Area Based Development Program in Afghanistan.

Imran Ghaznavi is the Senior Executive Director and Official Spokesman for the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority of Pakistan. Certified as a director for corporate governance, he has served as a Visiting Professor at SZABIST in Islamabad, and as Head of Corporate Communication and Government Relations for Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited.
