Learning by Doing

In short, it serves as the focal point for many of the Center’s Experiential Learning offerings including:

  • GatorNest Consulting Program
  • Integrated Technology Venture (ITV) Program
  • Entrepreneur-In-Residence Program
  • Student Mentoring Program
  • Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program

The Lab is housed inside the UF Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center and is juxtaposed next to the offices of faculty and staff as well as the student Innovation Café.

Space includes:

A room with a small round table and chairs

Ideation Hub
Dedicated space providing students with an expanse for brainstorming and creative thinking activities.

A room with a small table, a large monitor and a whiteboard

Kick Out Corridor
Breakout rooms allowing student teams to conduct collaborative business planning and research activities.

A room with a long table and chairs

Impact Zone
Flexible presentation space allowing for multiple uses including small courses, workshops, meetings, speaking engagements, and venture pitches.

In addition, the space is wired with state-of-the-art technology allowing for global interconnectivity and interaction.
