3/2 Program Student Resources
The 3/2 Program is the Fisher School of Accounting’s premier professional program. It is designed for the students who desire a professional accounting career. Completion of this program will fulfill the State of Florida’s requirements to take the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination and practicing as a CPA in Florida.
Completion of the integrated five-year, 150-hour program leads to the joint awarding of a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSAc) degree and a Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree. Students in this program are able to design an individualized plan of study including courses in the areas of financial accounting, auditing, or taxation.
Important Note: Because students in the 3/2 program have a graduate classification, students receiving undergraduate scholarships or Pell grants typically lose eligibility for their funding. Students encountering this problem should consult with an academic advisor and consider entering the MAcc program after earning their BSAc degree.
Success in the 3/2 program requires a thorough understanding of all program requirements. The links that follow will assist you to develop a plan of study. Our Student Handbooks and guides discuss all academic policies and procedures applicable to the 3/2 program. It is critical that you familiarize yourself with these requirements. To avoid delays in graduation, students are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor to confirm their plan of study satisfies all program requirements.
