Graduation is an exciting time and we congratulate all students who have completed their degree program. Graduation has critical dates and requirements that must be met. The information below details your responsibility and provides information about commencement ceremonies.
Complete All Requirements for Your Degree Program
- The semester before you intend to graduate, meet with an academic advisor to ensure you will meet all degree requirements the semester you plan to graduate. Due to the high volume of traffic during the schedule adjustment period, graduation checks cannot be completed during the first week of each semester.
- The semester you plan to graduate, log on to ONE.UF to check your degree audit. If your degree audit does not state “All requirements identified below have been met pending completion of current registration ” then immediately schedule an appointment to meet with your academic advisor.
Apply for Graduation
The application to graduate is now completed online through the “My Record” link in ONE.UF. Students in the 3/2 program must apply for both degrees. The deadline to apply for graduation is published by the Office of the University Registrar.
Beginning with the Fall 2018 semester, graduating students and their guests will be invited to two ceremonies – a University-Wide Commencement ceremony, and a College Recognition Ceremony.
The University-Wide Commencement ceremony will be held at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, and will recognize all graduating students as a group. At the Warrington College of Business Graduate Recognition Ceremony, all graduating business and accounting students will be individually recognized by name.
Details about the Warrington college-specific recognition ceremony can be found on the Warrington Graduation page. Details on the university-wide ceremony, as well as additional information such as ordering regalia and guest information, can be found on the UF Commencement page.
Ordering Graduation Regalia
All participants in the ceremony wear a university-approved cap and gown, which can be reserved from the University Bookstore.
