Stephen Mervis
BSBA ’10

Mervis was recently hired as the Chicago Bulls’ Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations. Previously, he spent 12 seasons with the Orlando Magic, most recently as Assistant General Manager. He was promoted in to the role in July 2024 after spending the previous two seasons as the vice president of basketball strategy and evaluation.
A native of Winter Haven, Florida, Mervis earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida and his juris doctor from Nova Southeastern University School of Law. He was admitted into the Florida Bar in 2013. Mervis was named to The Athletic’s NBA 40 Under 40 List in August 2024.

Mondshein was recently named Board Chair of the University of Florida’s PR Advisory Council after serving a two-year term on the board. As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of SourceCode Communications, Mondshein has led the agency to a milestone year in 2026, earning the title of Outstanding Technology Agency at the PRWeek Awards. Under his leadership, SourceCode has reached nearly $10 million in revenue with a 42% growth rate in the U.S., expanding its global footprint across NYC, SF and the UK.

Hand has worked at Citibank since 2013. Brandon Corsentino

Corsentino was named Director of Growth at Natrx, a leading innovator in resilience and restoration technology. In this role, Corsentino will lead the company’s sales strategy and expansion efforts, driving further adoption of Natrx’s proprietary technology solutions that deliver a new standard in high-performance resilience and restoration for water-exposed assets and infrastructure.
Corsentino joins Natrx after almost 10 years of experience in tech startups, mastering the intricacies of B2B and B2G marketing campaigns for innovative, forward-looking companies, with a proven track record successfully advocating for the integration of new technologies in a number of industries. Most recently, he served as the Regional Sales Director for Beep, Inc., promoting the growth of the autonomous vehicle industry.
Corsentino will focus on expanding Natrx’s business presence across the Southeast by leading sales operations, driving business development and building strategic partnerships with public and private sector organizations. He will also help leverage Natrx’s full suite of technology products and services to strengthen the company’s position as an industry leader.

Tim Johnson

Johnson recently joined real estate development company Kettler as chief investment officer, a strategic addition to the company’s leadership team as it continues to expand its development, investment and property management platform across high-growth markets.
Johnson brings more than 25 years of experience across real estate investment, development and finance. He most recently served as managing partner at Avid Ventures, where he provided strategic leadership and led real estate investment and development across key Florida markets.
Previously, Johnson served as chief financial officer at Strategic Property Partners in Tampa, where he helped guide the financial strategy of a $3 billion mixed-use development platform and contributed to the vision and execution of Water Street Tampa. His background also includes senior leadership roles with Kitson & Partners and Colonial Properties Trust, where he played instrumental roles in finance, capital markets, acquisitions and large-scale development initiatives.
He also served as vice president for the Southeast at Milhaus Development, focusing on market-rate multifamily opportunities and leading new business development, site selection and deal structuring across the region.
He is active in several industry organizations, including the UF Bergstrom Real Estate Center Advisory Board, Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers.

Robert Norris

Norris retired in June 2025 as Chief Strategy Officer at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency within the U.S. Department of Defense, where he was employed for 21 years. He was awarded the Outstanding Civilian Service medal for all his contributions to the success of the agency. In April 2026 he permanently moved to Nice, France to enjoy his retirement.

Alexander Llanos

Llanos, M.D., is an interventional and structural cardiologist at Holy Cross Medical Group. He is Chief of the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Service Line for the Jim Moran Heart and Vascular Institute at Holy Cross Health. Llanos also serves on the Holy Cross Physician Board at Holy Cross Health.
He organizes local, national and international conferences in cardiovascular disease and physician leadership. His focus areas include interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, atrial septal defect closure and paravalvular leak closure.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology, Llanos is extensively involved in medical research and clinical trials.

Matthew Bush
MBA ’06

Bush has been appointed chief executive officer of Hirebotics, LLC, a leading provider of collaborative robot (cobot) solutions for the metal fabrication industry. Bush, the former chief operating officer, succeeds co-founder Rob Goldiez, who is retiring from the company after more than a decade of leadership.
Since Bush and Goldiez launched Hirebotics in 2015, Bush has overseen the company’s electro-mechanical product development, manufacturing operations, and customer success initiatives, with the company’s Beacon™-powered cobot welding and cutting systems now deployed in fabrication shops across the globe.
Prior to Hirebotics, Bush held multiple senior leadership positions at several of IDEX Corporation companies and The Scott Fetzer Company, where he led operational improvement initiatives as a Master Black Belt, Director of Operations and Director of Global Engineered Solutions.

Adam G. Suess

Suess has joined the firm Squire Patton Boggs as a principal in its global Environmental, Safety & Health Practice Group, based in Washington, D.C. Suess previously served as Senior Counselor to the United States Secretary of the Interior and as Acting Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Suess brings a broad background and extensive experience across senior in house roles, governmental affairs leadership, high level public service and law firm practice. At the Department of the Interior, he guided major legal, regulatory, and policy initiatives and oversaw key land and energy related agencies, working closely with the Administration, Congress, states, territories, tribes and external stakeholders.
In the private sector, he has held several senior executive positions with Fortune 200 and other leading companies, directing government affairs, external relations, customer experience and legal strategy. He also served as a judicial law clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida and as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida.

Twanda Mickle

Mickle serves as chief operating officer (acting) at the CDC Foundation, where she oversees internal operations, including finance, human resources, IT and strategic operations.
Established by Congress, the CDC Foundation is an independent, 501(c)(3) public charity. The CDC Foundation helps save and improve lives by unleashing the power of collaboration between national health agencies like the CDC, philanthropies, corporations, organizations, individuals to protect the health, safety and security of America and the world.
Previously, Mickle was vice president of strategic operations, leading workforce services, business operations and IT & data governance. In this capacity, she led initiatives that strengthened public health infrastructure, optimized enterprise technology solutions and mobilized resources to deploy thousands of public health professionals nationwide.
Before joining the CDC Foundation, Mickle spent more than 15 years in management and IT consulting, leading global teams and client engagements across Fortune 500 organizations. She has held leadership roles with Arthur Andersen, KPMG and ASAP Solutions Group, specializing in organizational change and human capital transformation.

In her chapter, Goodwin-Peters shares why the future of AI depends on people—on the leaders who will design work differently, on the employees who bring insight and creativity, and on the cultures that make innovation possible. AI may scale intelligence, but people create meaning.

His life was marked not only by technical excellence but also by servitude.

After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy Reserve, serving as a Yeoman Third Class for two years and in the Philippines during World War II. He later attended the University of Florida and earned a bachelor’s degree. Professionally, he devoted his life to public service and municipal leadership, working as a city manager across Florida. He was also a licensed realtor with Hardaway Realty and a founding member of the Church of Our Savior in Cocoa Beach. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings. He is survived by his wife, Sara; eight children; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
William F. Mitchell Sr. | BSAB ‘52 | 2026 | Mitchell, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed on February 3. Mitchell graduated with a business degree from the University of Florida and later served as a lieutenant junior grade in the United States Navy. After his service, he ran a real estate business in Boca Raton while serving as the president of the Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce. He was also a lifelong member of Bibletown Community Church, where he led bible studies and classes. He is preceded in death by his grandson, James. He is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, Joyce; daughter, Nancy; son, Bill; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Robert D. Davis | BSBA ‘53 | 2026 | Davis, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed on January 19. After earning a business degree from the University of Florida, he served in the United States Army of Occupation in Germany as a noncommissioned personnel specialist. After his service, he joined Winn-Dixie Stores full-time, working as financial vice president and Chairman of the board throughout his career. He was also a volunteer and benefactor of the Mayo Clinic in Florida. His intellect and unwavering generosity marked his professional and personal life. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother and son, Scott. He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughters, Caroline, Jordan and Ashley; stepchildren, Macie, Andrew, Gretechn, Malanie and Michelle; and grandchildren.
Reynolds E. Pitts | BSBA ‘57 | 2026 | Pitts, of Panama City, Florida, passed on March 4. After studying business at the University of Florida, Pitts served in the United States Army for two years. Professionally, Pitts worked at International Paper Company for 21 years and Southwest Forest Industries for three years. Pitts was known for his willingness to help others. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby; his sister, Corinda; and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jean; sons, Reynold and John; and brother, Bradley.
Chester E. Clem Jr. | DBA ‘59, JD ‘63 | 2026 | Clem, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed on February 18. Clem served in the U.S. Army, serving six months of active duty and six years of reserve service before completing his degree at the University of Florida. Post-graduation, he worked in Vero Beach while serving as an assistant state attorney, a member of the Florida Bar Association and the president of the Indian River County Bar Association. Nonetheless, despite his professional excellence, his loyalty to his family always came first. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay; and his brother Bob. He is survived by his children, Zander, Jeff, Chester, Liz and Mary; and his grandchildren.
Lieutenant Colonel Martin R. Hurwitz | BSAc ‘59 | 2026 | Hurwitz, of Sun City Center, Florida, passed on March 17. Hurwitz studied accounting at the University of Florida and later served as an officer for the United States Army for 20 years. He served in various roles during the Cuban Missile Crisis, Cold War and Vietnam; he retired from his military career as a commander of an Air Defense Missile battalion. Afterwards, he rejoined the accounting field as a director of the fiscal division for the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sandra; daughter, Mavra; son, Kenneth; and extended family.
John A. Hubner | BSAc ‘59 | 2026 | Hubner, of Gainesville, Florida, passed on April 3. After high school, he served at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville and Puerto Rico. Following his service, he earned a degree in accounting from the University of Florida and began his career with Radiation, Inc. In 1969, the company merged with Harris Corporation, and he continued with the company until retirement as vice president. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; his sons, John and James; and his four grandchildren.
Thomas J. Beasley | BSBA ‘60 | 2026 | Beasley, of Cape Canaveral, Florida, passed on March 13. Two years into his education at the University of Florida, he served in the U.S. Army. When his service ended, he returned to finish his education, earning a degree in business. By the age of 88. Beasley had owned and operated 10 men’s stores and bridal shops throughout South and Central Florida. He is survived by his wife, Olga; son, William; daughter, Dawn; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.
William E. Sullivan | BSBA ‘61 | 2026 | Sullivan, of Hampton, New Hampshire, passed on March 1. Sullivan served in the U.S. Army and studied business at the University of Florida; Sullivan also played varsity baseball for the Florida Gators in the 1960 and 1961 seasons. Professionally, he worked with various companies before founding the William E. Sullivan Company in 1974. He also prioritized his service to Sacred Heart Church and youth programs. His life was marked by kindness, dedication and commitment.

Tribaut studied accounting at the University of Florida and worked across multiple industries, including Gulf Oil in Miami, Ford Motor Company, and other metal, real estate and oil companies. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons, Mark, Tim and Dan; stepdaughters, Heather and Amy; and extended family.
John D. Prior Jr. | BSBA ‘62, JD ‘68 | 2026 | Prior, of Fremont, California, passed on March 6. He attended the University of Florida as an undergraduate business student and law student. HE also served as a Navy lieutenant for 3 years. He was known for his generosity and humor among his friends, family and community. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Merilyn; and his son, Johnny.
Raymond De Castro | BSBA ‘67 | 2026 | Castro, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed on February 19. He spent his time at the University of Florida studying business and serving as president of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and began service aboard the USS Turner. He later spent three years on the Admiral’s staff in London and then transitioned into the Navy Reserve. John F. Gregg | MBA ‘67 | 2026 | Gregg, of Ponte Vedra, Florida, passed on March 4. After earning his MBA at the University of Florida, he began a career in healthcare administration and financial services. He worked as a resident at Orange Memorial, associate executive director at Memorial Medical Center and as president and executive director at the University Hospital of Jacksonville. He is preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Valerie. He is survived by Andrea, his wife of 44 years; his daughters, Nancy and Alicia; his sons, Jay, J.J. and Robert; and extended family.
William G. Turnley | BSAc ‘68 | 2026 | Turnley, of Ocala, Florida, passed on March 8. After graduating from the University of Florida, he served in the U.S. Navy as a disbursing officer aboard the USS Vulcan. After his service, he and his wife founded P & G Properties in Ocala. He was known for his professional excellence, generosity and faithful service to his church. He is preceded in death by his parents, half-sister and niece. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela; son, Andrew; and extended family.
Joseph T. Jurkowski Jr. | BSAc ‘70, JD ‘74 | 2026 | Jurkowski, of Key West, Florida, passed on February 25. He earned his bachelor’s and JD from the University of Florida. He worked for the SEC, Freddie Mac and Bear Stearns throughout his professional career. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anh; his brother, Kenneth; and his niece, Rena. He is survived by his extended family.
Joseph H. Neihardt | MBA ‘70 | 2026 | Neihardt, of Hernando, Florida, passed on March 2. After earning his MBA in health and hospital administration from the University of Florida, he worked at various hospitals, including St. Joseph’s Hospital, The Georgia Warm Springs Foundation Hospital and Worth County Hospital. Neihardt’s life was marked by devotion and faith. He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly; his three daughters, Rhonda, Jdoei and Tonya; and extended family.
Glenn T. Warren | MBA ‘71 | 2026 | Warren, of Clearwater, Florida, passed on March 3. He initially worked for Philip Morris International in South America before returning to the States to earn his MBA at the University of Florida. After graduation, he joined his brother, Dale, in the family business, Tack & Warren. Warren was a model of hard work and honesty to his family. He is survived by Dale; his daughters, Jacie and Patsie; his grandchildren; and his great-grandchildren.
Grady M. Irwin | BSAc, 75, JD ‘78 | 2026 | Irwin, of Gainesville, Florida, passed on February 18. Irwin studied accounting and law at the University of Florida. After graduation, he worked with one of his professors, Irwin Gleim, for 44 years. He is preceded in death by his grandmother adn parents. He is survived by his siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews.
John B. McNamee Jr. | BSBA ‘75 | 2026 | McNamee, of Glendale, California, passed on April 6. After graduating from the University of Florida, he pursued aerospace engineering and worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 36 years. He ran multiple Mars missions and managed the Deep Space Network. He was awarded numerous NASA Exceptional Service awards and the APM award. He is preceded in death by his son, Matthew; and sisters, Mary and Maureen. He is survived by his wife, Audrey; son, Stevan; daughter, Amanda; and extended family.
Christopher C. Nast | BSBA ‘85 | 2026 | Nast, of Inverness, Florida, passed on March 1. After earning his bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida, he began a successful career while being actively involved in his community. He was a member of Seven Rivers Church, a volunteer at the Rotary Club of Homosassa Springs, and a board member of the Path of Citrus County. He is preceded in death by his father, John. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Vicki; his mother, Mary; his daughters, Kelsey and Taylor; and his sister.
Steven Graham | MBA ‘99 | 2026 | Graham, of Coral Springs, Florida, passed on January 20. He earned an MBA from the University of Florida before pursuing a career in law. After graduating with his JD, he worked at the Florida Attorney General’s Office and the Law Office of Vince Piazza. He later led the South Florida Solo/Small Law Firm Networking Group and established a solo law practice in Boca Raton. He lived a life of devotion, curiosity and unwavering commitment to his profession and faith. He is survived by his sister, Marla Kapner; and brother-in-law, Paul Kapner.
