Belk Speaker Enlightens Students

On January 14th, Retail You! and Retail seminar course welcomed speaker, Perrine DeShield, Experiential Programming Manager at Belk. Perrine is the creator of two podcasts, 1stGens and The Quarantine Couch. Perrine is also an entrepreneur having started her own creative agency, Eclecs in 2019. During her presentation to Retail You! Perrine spoke about social media platforms and provided participants with a behind the scenes look at Belk’s social media and the thought process that goes into seasonal events/campaigns. For the Retail seminar course presentation Perinne covered Belk’s highly successful Culture Shop. Both presentations had students engaged in asking questions, providing insights, and brainstorming in breakout groups.
