Craig joined the Warrington College of Business in June of 2009. As Executive Director, Craig is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the College’s Business Career Services Office and ensuring the delivery of quality career development programming and services to students representing the Heavener School of Business, Hough Graduate School of Business, and the Fisher School of Accounting. In this capacity, Craig leads his team towards continuous corporate development, along with working one-on-one with the business students to provide career counseling. Overall, Craig and his team are responsible for providing career services and programming to over 6,000 students within the Warrington College of Business at UF.

Prior to his career at UF, Craig was an Executive Recruiter with two of the world’s leading executive search firms: Korn/Ferry International and Spencer Stuart. In these roles, Craig was responsible for placing C-level and VP level executives at companies such as Assurant Group, Coca-Cola, DHL, Florida Power & Light, Hawaiian Airlines, Jabil, Microsoft, Winn-Dixie and ZipCar. Craig also brings with him an 11-year career within the Professional Sports industry, working in sales and marketing roles for both the Miami Heat and the Florida Panthers. Michelle Bloom-Lugo

Michelle Bloom-Lugo is the Director for Undergraduate Career Services for Warrington College of Business, and brings more than two decades of experience in career counseling, executive search, and program management to the role. She leads a team of professionals obsessed with helping students connect with employers to leverage their strengths into great jobs lives. Prior to joining the University of Florida, Michelle’s career included corporate recruiting for finance, technology and human resources roles. She successfully executed searches for major Fortune 500 companies, including many investment banking firms headquartered in New York. Within the Business Career Services Team, she has coached MBA Executive and Professional students as well as Specialty Masters students. Michelle is active in both community and professional associations; she is currently a member of The Society for Human Resource Manager (SHRM) and a member of the National Association of Women MBAs. Before transitioning into career services, Jason spent a decade in private sector project management, corporate finance, marketing, and strategy roles. Prior to earning his MBA, Jason spent several years at ExxonMobil managing technology projects and working in corporate finance. Upon graduation, he spent several years within John Deere’s MBA Strategic Management Program, later transitioning to a strategy consulting role with McKinsey & Company. There, he provided guidance to senior executives in banking, media, and retail. His love of recruiting and coaching students led him to make the jump to career services at UF, where he now teaches students how to tell their story to companies and helps companies recruit talented students. When he’s not advising students, he’s working with his team to identify ways to enhance Business Career Services’ or coaching case competition teams on how to build and deliver presentations to corporate executives. Katie McCarville

Katie McCarville comes to UF from Creighton University where she built the inaugural internship program from the ground up. Prior to her experience in higher education, she grew her professional HR portfolio to include compensation & benefits, 401k administration, employee & labor relations, corporate training, recruiting & hiring, compliance, educational assistance and operations at Union Pacific Railroad and First National Bank. Outside of HR, Katie has worked in the private sector with Enterprise Holdings in their Management Trainee Program and as a Student Outreach Coordinator for Aureus Medical specializing in assisting new graduates find their first positions. She is a certified Gallup Strengths Coach, NACE Career Coach and HR Professional (PHR). Katie is beyond thrilled to join the gator nation and help use her Fortune 500 level experiences and education to assist and guide students towards their future career paths. Cecilia Schulz

Cecilia Schulz is the Director of Student Programs for the David F. Miller Center for Retailing and a Career Coach for Business Career Services. Her career has spanned multiple industries, from crisis counseling to culinary arts to owning and operating a retail boutique. For over two decades, Cecilia has taught Retailing Systems and Management and the Retail Leadership Seminar, championed the largest Retail internship Program in the country, and served as the faculty advisor for the Retail Society since its inception. She has advised thousands of business students and hundreds of student advisory board members. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida, with majors in psychology and manual communications. Cecilia is a mom, partner, devoted friend, a maniacal quilter, and a gym rat. Bernadine Thomas

Bernadine Thomas

Bernadine Thomas, a Chicago native, joined the Heavener Academic & Career Coaching team in 2012. She earned her undergraduate degree in Communications from Chicago State University and her master’s degree in Adult Education from National Louis University. Bernadine has over 15 years of experience working in the private sector (recruitment and management) before her career change to higher education where is worked in Academic Affairs as Assistant Director for the School for New Learning graduate program and then moved over to Student Affairs as Assistant Director for the Office of Adult Student Affairs, a one-stop resource center for the adult, commuter, transfer and veteran student populations. In 2016, she earned her certification as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF). Bernadine is one of our newest members to the Undergraduate Business Career Services team having joined us in 2018 and will continue to do what she loves most…providing career resources to our students.

Hailing from Upstate New York, Erica comes to UF with a corporate recruiting background having hired interns, full-time, and senior management positions within the Fortune 500. She has recruited throughout the U.S. as well as in Europe, Asia, South America, and the Caribbean. Erica also has experience in higher education working with International Programs, Admissions, and Multicultural Affairs. When she is not sticking post-it notes on her forehead to help students with their interviewing skills, you can usually find her working with a non-profit theatre, playing tennis, or spending time with her two nieces. Carly Escue

Before joining the Business Career Services team in 2018, Carly’s private sector background included roles in Corporate HR (ExxonMobil, General Electric), international education (South Korea, Russia) and digital marketing. After graduating from the UF MBA program, she refined her ability to develop others by advising employees and senior executives on career development and recruiting strategy, especially within Real Estate and Commercial functions. Carly is passionate about guiding Warrington students as they prepare for their dream careers, and in her current role, she coaches students in the Master of Science in Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) and Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) programs. Summer is a Double Gator and UF MBA alumna. Prior to returning to UF for round three as a B-school Career Coach, she worked in corporate HR at United Technologies. She recruited on college campuses and at national career fairs, searching for talent ready to launch MBA-level careers. She also worked at JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America in financial services roles previously. In her current role, she is advising professional MBA students throughout the career search or career enhancement process. Robin Gregory is the Events Manager for Business Career Services. She is the key team member for the creation, planning, and execution of College-wide Career Services events. She started a successful career in the financial industry working for companies like Norwest Bank (Wells Fargo), Edward Jones Investments, and Global State Mortgage. After a relocation to Florida, Robin began working for the University of Florida where she managed the coordination of event logistics and functions for the Director and Administrative team of a K-12 school in the College of Education. Robin is a busy wife and mother who has been married for 19 years. When she’s not event planning, her calendar is filled with mastering new gluten-free recipes, playing chauffer, and managing the schedules of her two very active teenagers. Kristy is the Office Manager and Recruiting Coordinator for the Business Career Services Office, with past experience in various University of Florida Administrative Offices including Career Services in the College of Law, Warrington College of Business, and IFAS Personnel. Kristy started her career in the Payable and Disbursements Department in 1987. After beginning her career on the financial side of UF, Kristy also wanted to gain knowledge assisting with student, staff and employer interaction, and recruiting. Kristy has worked in the College for 20 years and the University of Florida for 30 years.

Danny has been with the University of Florida for nearly 11 years and has served in a variety of Administrative roles. He currently serves as the Administrative Support Assistant for the Business Career Services Office, and has an extensive background in customer service and administrative support functions assisting team members with office clerical tasks, payroll, data entry, and survey creation. Danny also serves as internal liaison for cross-functional teams within Business Career Services and the Warrington College of Business. Danny is very involved in Alachua county serving as a board member for a local community organization. When he is not providing superior customer service, you can find Danny behind the piano in his hometown of Hawthorne, FL.
