Warrington Welcome Professional Development Summit

Learn today, lead tomorrow.

The Warrington Welcome Professional Development Summit is a one-day leadership and professional development conference for first-year business students. This event is sponsored by Warrington Welcome, Deloitte, and ALDI.

The Summit offers interactive workshops and speeches led by Heavener student organizations, industry professionals, and Deloitte employees. It is the only professional development conference focused on first-year students, giving students a unique opportunity to hear from leaders in Heavener, gain industry insights, network, and build upon highly-valued professional skills in preparation for internships and interviews.

Why attend?

  • Competency development: Attend multiple workshops focused around the eight Heavener competencies that employers desire in their employees. These workshops will provide crucial networking opportunities and provide students with resources to aid in their professional endeavors.
  • Networking: Network with more than a dozen student organizations, industry professionals, and other Heavener students through the workshops and the tabling event. By building these relationships early, students will have relationships to aid them throughout their education and in the professional sphere.
  • Exclusive workshops & speakers: Gain access to fascinating, insightful speakers and high-yield workshops that are only available through this event. These speakers include industry professionals, Warrington faculty, and student leaders from across campus.
