The City

Manchester is one of the largest cities in England, and serves as an international center for business, retailing, and financial services. In addition, the city is home to world famous orchestras such as The Halle and BBC Philharmonic, the famous Royal Exchange Theatre, the restored Palace Theatre, and many libraries, museums and art galleries. Manchester is also home to two top-class football (soccer) teams – Manchester United and Manchester City.

Students must first choose courses only from the MSc- International Business & Management program since that is the program with which we have an exchange agreement. As the term start date approaches and all Manchester students are done with registration, it is possible to also select courses from other MSc programs.

Travel Opportunities

Manchester is located in the geographical center of the UK and benefits from a modern and efficient transportation network. The city has two main rail stations which provide direct access to most major cities in Great Britain, including London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh. In addition, the Manchester Airport (just 15 minutes from campus) connects to 56 international destinations, making travel within Europe easy and convenient. When large city life gets overwhelming, students have access to some of the most dramatic, unspoiled and picturesque countryside in the United Kingdom. The Peak and Lake Districts, the North Wales hills and coast, and the Pennine Hills are all within easy reach for students to explore.
