    Before joining the Business Career Services team in September of 2021, Genaveve began her career with the University of Florida through higher education fundraising with UF Advancement. In Advancement, Genaveve traveled, engaged, and maintained relationships with University of Florida alumni, friends, and associating corporations. As the Assistant Director of Employer Relations, Genaveve is responsible for collaborating with employers to develop successful recruiting strategies, creating customized programming opportunities for targeted student populations, and providing exceptional customer service. She works closely with the BCS undergraduate and graduate career coaches to connect company recruiters with their target candidates. She is a proud graduate of the University of Florida and received her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and Communication with a specialization in Communication and Leadership Development. Genaveve is excited to share her passion of helping connect employers with some of the best and brightest students Warrington has to offer.

    Craig W. Petrus joined the Warrington College of Business in June of 2009. As Assistant Dean and Executive Director, Craig is responsible for the day to day operations of the Warrington College of Business Career Services Office and ensuring the delivery of quality career development programming and services to students representing the Heavener School of Business (undergraduate students), Hough Graduate School of Business (graduate business students), and the Fisher School of Accounting (undergraduate and graduate). In this capacity, Craig leads his team towards continuous corporate development, along with working one-on-one with the business students in providing career counseling, career coaching, obtaining internships, and ultimately securing employment in their fields of study upon graduation. Overall, Craig and his team are responsible for providing career services and programming to over 5,000 students within the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida.

    Prior to arriving at the University of Florida, Craig was an Executive Recruiter with two of the world’s leading executive search firms, Korn/Ferry International and Spencer Stuart. In these roles, Craig was responsible for placing C-level and VP level executives at companies such as Assurant Group, Akerman Senterfitt, BankAtlantic, Baptist Health South Florida, Bijoux Terner, Coca-Cola, DHL, Florida Power & Light, Hawaiian Airlines, Jabil, Microsoft, Paxar Corporation, PBS&J, Puma Energy, Pinnacle Airlines, Winn-Dixie and Zipcar.

    Prior to his career in Executive Search, Craig had a successful eleven year career within the Professional Sports industry, working in sales and marketing roles for both the Miami Heat and the Florida Panthers. Craig holds a B.S. Degree in Sports Management from Barry University along with an MBA from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business & Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University.
