Scholarship Opportunities

It’s time to apply for our college scholarship opportunity, which supports future female leaders as they pursue university-level education that will lead to careers in commercial real estate. Thanks to the support of our generous donors and chapters, and the success of our 25th anniversary campaign, CREW Network Foundation will award a total of 40 college scholarships in 2024—25 $5,000 USD undergraduate and 15 $10,000 graduate (or CAD equivalent) scholarships.

Applicant eligibility requirements:

  • a female or identify as female
  • a full-time junior, senior or graduate student (2024-2025 academic year)
  • a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • a citizen of the United States or Canada
  • focused study in one or more of our Qualified Fields of Commercial Real Estate

Don’t wait to start the application process—you’ll need to include transcripts and two letters of recommendation as well. Applications will close on April 15, and scholarship recipients will be selected and notified in June.

Scholarship recipients will receive:

  • One of 25 $5,000 USD undergraduate or 15 $10,000 graduate scholarships (or CAD equivalent) for tuition and books
  • Paid internship opportunity during the summer of 2025
  • Complimentary 24-month CREW Network student membership
  • Complimentary registration to the 2024 CREW Network Convention
  • A $1,000 travel stiped to Convention
  • A six-month mentoring opportunity with a senior leader in commercial real estate

The Society of Real Estate Professionals (SOREP) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit dedicated to serving Tampa Bay’s commercial real estate community by hosting insightful events on relevant industry topics, valuable networking opportunities, and our signature “Meeting of the Minds”. SOREP is also committed to supporting higher education in commercial real estate by sponsoring an annual scholarship fund. The fund is offered to eligible full-time undergraduate or graduate level students who are pursuing a career in real estate with an interest in potentially moving to Tampa Bay after graduation. The scholarship is currently available to students attending the University of Florida, Florida State University, the University of South Florida, the University of Tampa, the University of Miami, or the University of Central Florida. Since the scholarship’s inception in 2018, SOREP has awarded $165,000 to 68 students!
