The Rent to Own Labs Scholarship is granted to one real estate student each year. The $2,500 scholarship should help the student pay for textbooks, tuition and development courses related to real estate. Students are expected to mail a printed application to Rent to Own Labs at 12301 Lake Underhill Rd, Suite 111, Orlando FL 32828. Application deadline is October 15th.
The Society of Real Estate Professional is offering a scholarship for undergraduates and graduates interested in relocating to Tampa Bay after graduation. The scholarship will contribute to tuition, fees, supplies and/or books and will amount anywhere between $1000 and $5000. Students are to complete the application and mail a hard copy to The Society of Real Estate Professionals ATTN: Jeremy Pino at 501 East Kennedy Blvd., Ste. 1200 Tampa, Florida 33602. Application is due March 31, 2018.

- Perform in-depth industry, market and competitor research
- Perform local, national and international real estate market analysis on a wide range of public and private entities and REITs using all accepted and relevant approaches and theory
- Using Argus and Excel, design financial models for discounted cash flow analysis, market approach and cost approach valuation methods
- Independently gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction, including personal & telephone Interviews with brokers and property managers
- Review industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends
- Assist with preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner
- Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Management (with a concentration in Finance, Accounting or Real Estate), Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or Real Estate), Economics (with a concentration in Finance or Real Estate) from an accredited college or university
- Expected graduation date between September 2019 and August 2020

The Shopping Center Group, a national retail real estate company, is currently seeking an intern in their Orlando office for the summer of 2018.
