HLC Admin Team Open Roles

Want to continue your time in HLC but are unsure if facilitation is right for you? Apply for a Director role as part of the HLC Admin Team! Admin members work closely with facilitation members as part of the HLC Leadership Team in ensuring the program’s success. We are currently recruiting for a Director of Alumni Engagement, Director of Marketing, and Director of Recruitment. Please see below for role descriptions and qualifications of each position:

Alumni Engagement

Heavener Leadership Challenge is seeking an HLC graduate who is tech-savvy, personable, and excited about how to foster connection between HLC alumni, current participants, and prospective applicants. The ideal candidate is excited about putting together networking and career development opportunities and knowledgeable about how to best market the success of our alumni.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Data management: Maintaining and updating the database, formatting raw employment data on our alumni in a way that’s easy to understand
  • Creating alumni outcome infographics for marketing purposes
  • Organizing alumni panels and networking events
  • Maintaining and updating the LinkedIn HLC Alumni Group
  • Strategize creative ways to keep HLC alumni involved with the program (both graduated and non-graduated alumni)
  • Reaching out to alumni for social media alumni spotlights

Desired Skills and Requirements:

  • Past HLC participant with a passion for the program & curriculum
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships – being HLC’s main representative for people who have graduated the program
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis / strong willingness to improve technical skills
  • Proactive leader who is able to take initiative
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to assist with other Admin related tasks, as well as collaborate with the Leadership Team at weekly meetings
  • Comfortable giving presentations / moderating panels

Marketing

Heavener Leadership Challenge is seeking an HLC graduate who is a creative thinker with a passion for marketing and media. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable on the processes of organizing and implementing different marketing and branding initiatives, but is also able to think outside of the box and come up with their own innovative marketing strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing digital marketing campaigns across social media accounts and Heavener platforms to create brand awareness throughout Heavener
  • Preparation of marketing collateral that is consistent with HLC branding
  • Regularly update the HLC website and social media accounts
  • Work alongside the Director of Recruitment to plan recruitment events including Business Bash & Information Sessions
  • Be able to present ideas and objectives in a clear, organized, and creative way
  • Update PowerPoints and other graphics to be up-to-date and aesthetically pleasing
  • Collect and analyze digital marketing data to optimize reach and grow HLC’s audience

  • Strong communication skills and ability to think outside the box
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proactive leader who is able to take initiative

Recruitment

Heavener Leadership Challenge is seeking an HLC graduate who is organized, a quick-learner, and personable. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable on creating an effective recruitment strategy, has strong collaboration skills, and is passionate about making HLC an inclusive and welcoming place for everybody in Heavener.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful execution of our recruitment season through Business Bash and the Information Session by running the events and scheduling other LT members, working with marketing to advertise our presence at the event, and gaining traction from potential applications
  • Consistent outreach throughout the semester to different organizations in the business school – speaking at involvement panels, giving mini HLC presentations, etc.
  • Point-of-contact (along with GA) for any recruitment-related questions through email, text, etc.
  • Working heavily with Microsoft Excel when sorting written application and interview scores
  • Plan and schedule participant interviews
  • Keep recruitment-related PowerPoints and graphics up to date and consistent with HLC branding

Desired Skills and Requirements:

  • Past HLC participant with a passion for the program & curriculum
  • Ability to strategize new and creative recruitment tactics
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and an eye for logistical planning
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Proactive leader who is able to take initiative
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to assist with other Admin related tasks, as well as collaborate with the Leadership Team at weekly meetings
  • Comfortable engaging and presenting to prospective/current HLC participants
