Capital Markets Lab

Students working in the Capital Markets Lab

What is it?

The Capital Markets Lab is home to our nine Bloomberg Professional Terminals. Bloomberg is a computer software system that provides business professionals with real-time financial market data, up-to-the-minute news and securities market analytics. The Bloomberg system provides coverage on every asset class, including fixed income, equities, foreign exchange, commodities and derivatives. The information spans companies, industries, markets, economies, countries and regions.

The lab terminals also provide access to the Thomson Reuters’ EIKON system and Trading Technologies’ X-Trader software.

Who can use the lab?

Access is restricted to Hough graduate students. Students currently registered in the Hough Graduate School of Business are eligible to register for a Capital Markets Lab training session and obtain lab access privileges.

If you are a Hough Grad student and would like more information, please submit your request.
