Mission Statement

Mission and Focus
The Center for Management Communication has four specific goals:

  • To serve as a center of expertise in business and management communication.
  • To disseminate research on communication to members of the academic and business communities.
  • To provide on- and off-campus training in optimal communication strategies and information sharing.
  • To equip undergraduate and graduate students in business with the strong communication skills necessary for success in an information economy.

To these ends, the Management Communication Center seeks to promote strong writing and speaking skills through graduate and undergraduate courses in professional communication in business.
