Arlette first joined the Business Career Services team as a graduate assistant in August 2022 and transitioned to a full-time Career Coach role, where she supported first- and second-year students in their career development. Prior to BCS, she worked with UF's Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program, where she provided mentoring, advising, and programming for first-generation students on campus. She earned a Bachelor’s in Human Communication and a certificate in Human Resources from the University of Central Florida, as well as a Master’s in Student Personnel in Higher Education from the University of Florida. Her background spans Higher Education, Career Services, Student Affairs, and Non-Profit Management. She now serves as an Assistant Director continuing to support students in their career search. She currently advises ALPFA at UF and First-Generation Business Leaders, as well as support to the Undergraduate CAP Mentor Program.
