Before joining the Business Career Services team in May 2024, Jared worked as an Admissions Officer for the MBA program. He spent three years recruiting talented students for the Online, Weekend, and Executive populations. Before working in higher education with the University of Florida, Jared spent 12 years working in private-sector retail where he held multiple leadership positions for Kroger and H-E-B. Ranging from store operations, product sourcing, and special projects, Jared played a role in launching many high-profile initiatives over the years. Some of these included organizing leadership development programs for prospective managers and college interns and collaborating with Fortune 500 companies to redesign order management systems to maximize logistical efficiencies. Jared is a 2017 MBA program graduate and is pursuing his PhD in Leadership from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
