
Justin is a Ph.D. candidate at the Fisher School of Accounting. Prior to entering the Ph.D. program at the University of Florida, Justin attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a double major in Business Administration (with a concentration in Finance) and in Economics, and a minor in Interdisciplinary Asian Studies. Justin also finished his Master of Accounting Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an emphasis in tax. Upon graduation, Justin worked in the public accounting profession at Deloitte for four years as a certified public accountant.
Drawing from his professional experience as a tax consultant, Justin’s primary research and teaching interest lies in taxation. Through his research, Justin is eager to learn more about the tax and tax reporting incentives that drive business decisions. Moreover, Justin taught TAX 4001: Introduction to Federal Income Tax during the Spring 2022 semester and was awarded the Warrington College of Business Ph.D. Teaching Award.
