Jayashree Mahajan currently teaches International Marketing in the Online and on-campus Executive MBA Programs. She has a Ph.D. in Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MBA from the University of Windsor, and an MA in Economics from Bombay University. Professor Mahajan has been on the faculty in the Department of Marketing at the University of Florida and at the University of Arizona. While at UF, she taught Business Statistics at the undergraduate level in the electronic platform format for a number of years. At the graduate level, she has also taught Marketing Research, Marketing Decision Support Systems, and Environmental Scanning. Her research projects have examined the use of specialists and generalists in multi-product firms, examining the value of spillovers from investments in information technology for marketing activities, and examining the effects of feedback and expertise on overconfidence in marketing predictions. Her work has been published in a number of journals including Journal of Marketing Research, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Decision Sciences Journal, European Journal of Operational Research, and Vikalpa (Journal of Decision Makers). Her research has been funded by the Marketing Science Institute and the National Science Foundation.
