Welcome to the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida!
I am excited to share with you the many opportunities that await you in the Heavener School of Business. I have been part of the School as an undergraduate, graduate student, advisor, online programs director and now as the Director of Competency Development and Program Evaluation. As a seasoned Gator, I look forward to working with you and helping you on your journey toward success.
I was born and raised a Gator so it is no surprise that I’ve made Gainesville my home. I am originally from Tampa, Florida but spent many summers in Gainesville at Grandma’s house. As a student I was involved with the Honors Program, Peer Mentoring, Intramurals, and Project Mascot which connects college students with elementary students. I was privileged to have the opportunity to mentor peers and to serve as a role model for aspiring young students.
At this junction in my academic journey I have completed a BSBA in Economics, a MA in Economics, and a MEd in Student Personnel in Higher Education, all from the University of Florida. My passion for education is grounded in research, problem solving, a desire to do things better, student success, and reaching out to those most in need. In addition to my time spent in Heavener, I've worked in the College of Education in Instructional Design, and I am currently working on a PhD in Education Technology.
I encourage you to be disciplined with your studies and take advantages of the resources available in Heavener and here at the University of Florida.
You can reach me via email or by appointment (call 352-273-0165 to schedule). My office is located in 333 Heavener Hall and if you’re in town, I look forward to meeting with you here.
