Bio
Nitish Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Warrington College of Business, University of Florida. He received a Ph.D. in Finance from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago in 2015. Before that, he earned an MBA degree from Anderson School of Management, UCLA and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, India. Kumar’s primary research interests are in corporate finance, financial intermediation, and political economy of firms and banks.
