
Before joining UF’s Finance PhD program, Guilherme spent a decade in the Consumer Goods, Private Equity, and Chemicals sectors, serving most recently as Corporate Strategy Manager for the largest baking goods firm in the United States. Guilherme’s research focuses on Entrepreneurial Finance. He has a keen interest in how access to capital influences small business growth, innovation, and economic development. Guilherme earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business Administration and Finance in his home country, Brazil, and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin. He currently serves as the President of the McCombs Alumni Chapter in Florida.
