Admission to the Nathan S. Collier Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) Program is competitive, with approximately 30 students admitted per year. Admission is based on a number of factors including the applicant's GMAT score, academic record, and work experience. Our current MSRE students have an average of 2 years of work experience (after completing their undergraduate degree), 3.5 undergrad. GPA and 630 GMAT, but our Combined Bachelors/MSRE students’ test scores and GPA’s are higher since they have less work experience. An undergraduate who is competitive for Combined Bachelors/MSRE admission usually has taken REE 3043 (offered only in Fall) and earn at least an A-, attends as many of the Ring Speaker Series presentations as possible, to learn from high level RE professionals (be sure to fill out the comment sheet) and has worked at least one commercial real estate internship. It is also helpful to join and become active with the undergraduate Real Estate Society. This helps get them up to speed academically and practically with the rest of the MSRE cohort more quickly.
A laptop computer is required. Please consult the minimum hardware and software specifications stipulated by the Warrington College of Business for all graduate students, including those in Combined degree programs.
UF's MSRE program stood out on top for several reasons, such as the broad nature of the curriculum and the quality of the board members in that they do not hesitate to offer advice and their Rolodexes to advance the students' careers.Samir Yajnik,
