PaCE gives students a direct path to Warrington
Pathway to Campus Enrollment (PaCE) offers business students a unique opportunity: flexibility in their degree while maintaining the University of Florida experience.
PaCE is an enrollment pathway allowing freshmen to begin their degree online and later transition to campus. Since 2015, PaCE has provided hundreds of students with the same instructors, curriculum and academic rigor as on-campus students while providing greater flexibility and reduced costs.
“PaCE has grown in numbers and competitiveness over time,” assistant director of academic and career advising Sarah Morais said. “Our PaCE business students are excelling in academic rigor and experiential learning opportunities as more PaCE students than ever are studying abroad, taking leadership positions and pursuing combination degrees.”
PaCE students are Gators since day one. Students have access to more than 60 majors in the program. Within the Warrington College of Business, PaCE students can pursue the BABA general studies major.
“The BABA general studies major helps students build a strong foundation with the core business courses while diversifying their studies by choosing an area of specialization,” Morais said. “With many specializations to choose from, students can grow knowledge of a niche industry, acquire an in-demand skill set or prepare for an international career.”
PaCE student Holly Deutsch (BABA ‘26, MSE ‘26) described the transition to campus as a “natural path” for business students since many business classes are already in an online or hybrid format. With access to student organizations, student services, UF libraries and more, PaCE allows students to connect with the Warrington community and the same opportunities as on-campus students.
For PaCE business students specifically, the course “GEB2015 – Business and You: Warrington Welcome” has been redesigned to provide the same collaboration and engagement as the on-campus section.
“Warrington offers so much to its students, and regardless of the program you start in, you can benefit from everything the school has to offer,” Deutsch said. “In my experience, what matters most is how you take advantage of the opportunities around you, and Warrington provides an incredible environment for growth, involvement and success.”
“I genuinely believe PaCE is one of the best paths because it pushes you to be independent while still giving you access to everything UF has to offer,” PaCE student Andrew Simmons (BABA ‘28) said. “It allows you to build your own path, develop discipline and turn your motivation into real opportunities. It has helped me grow not just as a student, but as a person.”
In 2026, U.S. News & World Report ranked the University of Florida as the No. 1 Best Online Bachelor’s Program and the Warrington College of Business as the No. 1 Best Online Bachelor’s in Business Program. PaCE continues to provide students with the top online education while maintaining a strong pathway to campus.
