Natasha Plunkett joined the Master of Science in Information Systems and Operations Management department in 2019 as the Associate Director of Academic Advising.
She moved to Gainesville from South Florida in 2004 to pursue her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida. She earned a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Family, Youth and Community Sciences (2008), a Master’s degree in Higher & Post-Secondary Education from Argosy University (2012), and her Warrington MBA (2019). She also earned her certification as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2016) .
Natasha began her career with the University of Florida in August 2008. She joined the Warrington College of Business in August 2013. As a higher education professional, her experience centers on working with students in transition as they embark on the next phase of their education. This includes admissions recruitment and operation at the university and college level. In addition, Natasha has contributed to the advising community by supporting academic initiatives for diverse student populations including: first time in college (FTIC), transfer, graduate, online, and international. Her advising philosophy promotes "challenging students to adopt a holistic approach to their academic journey by engaging in transformational experiences that will influence their future".
