Michael Carrillo is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Marketing Department of the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida.  He received his DBA from the University of Florida.  Michael holds an MS in Physics, an MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering, and an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  He also earned a BS in Physics from the University of California Irvine.  Currently, he teaches graduate-level courses in Managerial Statistics, Operations Management, Business-to-Business Marketing, Marketing Strategy, and New Product Management.  His research interests include qualitative and correlational research in marketing and operations management strategies.

His experience spans software development, business consulting, project management, sales, business development, marketing, and management.  Additionally, he served in two branches of the US military: US Air Force (enlisted) and the US Navy Reserve (officer).  While at Oracle (14 years), he led a team that demonstrated business intelligence and enterprise application software functionality to prospects and customers, contributed to marketing strategy and content, and delivered product training for employees, customers, and partners.  At Infor (7 years), he led a global enablement practice for a partner network of 1,000 partner companies with 10,000+ consulting members.  Later, he assumed a role as a Global Alliance executive to manage select global alliance partners.
