Adam Herman appointed Assistant Dean of Warrington MBA Programs
Herman brings 15+ years of experience to lead Florida’s #1 MBA program into the future.
Adam J. Herman has been appointed Assistant Dean of MBA Programs at the University of Florida Warrington College of Business. Herman steps into the role on December 1.

I look forward to seeing him guide our MBA portfolio into its next phase, ensuring our students are prepared to lead in an ever-evolving business landscape.”
For almost two decades, Herman has dedicated his career to helping students achieve their professional goals through educational opportunities. He’s looking forward to continuing to do so at Florida’s top-ranked MBA program by focusing on advancing student experiences and academic programs.

In his new role, Herman leads strategic direction, operational management and continuous improvement of UF’s comprehensive portfolio of MBA programs, including its national top 20-ranked Online and Full-Time formats as well as its Executive and Weekend Part-Time formats. As Assistant Dean of MBA Programs, Herman champions innovation, academic excellence and market competitiveness and serves as a visionary leader guiding the University of Florida’s MBA programs.
Herman joins the University of Florida with exceptional experience leading at several other higher education institutions. Most recently, Herman served as Associate Dean at Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, where he led the Offices of Admissions, Registrar and Academic Advising, Student Affairs and Career Services.
Prior to his role at Tufts, Herman held leadership roles at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business and Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Herman concluded his decade at Indiana Kelley as Executive Director of online graduate programs, including the online MBA. He led the teams responsible for admissions, academic advising, student engagement and experiential learning programs.
At Rice University, Herman was responsible for student success, student experience and experiential learning for the full-time, executive, working professional and online MBA programs, while also supporting the master’s degree in accounting and the undergraduate business programs.
Herman, originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, holds a doctorate in higher education from Indiana University – Bloomington, a master’s in educational leadership from Eastern Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University.
Herman succeeds John Gresley, who has been appointed Associate Dean for Finance and Innovation at Warrington. Gresley joined Warrington in 2008 and successfully led the MBA and specialized master’s programs as assistant dean, and then associate dean, since 2016.
