Global Immersion Experiences
Several residential programs within the Hough Graduate School of Business require that students participate in a short-term foreign study tour.
Some of the more interesting and educational locales scheduled for these trips can be much more expensive than others. Being able to pay for these trips, which are required for graduation, become even more burdensome because many of our full-time students are not employed.
The Center strives to help reduce cost disparities among these trips so that students pay nearly the same for each tour. This proposed subsidy will be applied to the program in order to reduce fixed overhead costs rather than directly to each student. However, it is expected that the cost to the students will be adjusted to reflect the lower administrative costs.
