Young Entrepreneurs Summer Program (2007-2016)

YELS Summer Luncheon 2016
Young Entrepreneurs for Leadership and Sustainability Gator Chomp in the Swamp

The UF Young Entrepreneurs Summer Program for High School Students (YELS) offered college-bound high school students the opportunity to live, work, eat, and play on the University of Florida campus for four weeks each summer while exploring entrepreneurship, innovative problem-solving, and strategic impact. Students developed leadership skills while learning from impact entrepreneurs who founded innovative, impactful, and resilient ventures, benefitting people, places, and prosperity, locally and around the world.

For 10 summers, from 2007 – 2016, YELS ran and impacted the lives of 374 high school students. Due to the generosity of our many supporters and friends, we were able to offer scholarships to students who would otherwise be unable to afford this life-changing experience.

YELS is now on hiatus as we focus on growing UF’s Impact Entrepreneurship Initiative for undergraduate & graduate students.
