Why earn an MSM in AI from Warrington?

We’re in the midst of an artificial intelligence revolution that’s rapidly transforming how companies do business. These technologies and tools have the potential to provide more personalized customer experiences, more in-depth data analysis, more prescient market predictions, and more direction for resource allocation.

Big picture, these advancements have already overhauled how companies operate, make decisions, and create value. Observing how much has changed over such a short period, the University of Florida Warrington College of Business developed the Master of Science in Management program with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence to introduce these technologies to working professionals in the context of standard business processes.

Starting in fall 2026 at UF’s new campus in downtown Jacksonville, the MSMAi program stands upon the legacy of Warrington’s pioneering MSM, initially conceived as an all-encompassing overview of business functions for individuals without this background. Here, the curriculum highlights AI’s accounting, marketing, finance, and other business applications to get early- to mid-career professionals up to speed while helping more seasoned workers strategically harness these capabilities.

  • Understand how to grow visibility, budget, make decisions, and nurture employees through a curriculum covering business management principles and AI applications.
  • Go beyond theory to practical experience with hands-on projects for businesses in the Jacksonville area.
  • Interact with a dynamic group of professionals eager to learn more about AI — from recent graduates to senior employees, with or without a background in business.
  • Orchestrate your promotion as you streamline day-to-day operations with AI and guide wider efforts to select tools and develop best practices.
  • Faculty striving to push the boundaries of data and AI in business acquaint you with all these technologies can do.

About the Master’s in Management in AI program

Early adopters touted AI as a way to speed up mundane, repetitive tasks. Greater capabilities and accuracy have only extended its influence. In the present, pattern identification and content creation aid all stages of a customer’s journey, while a deeper analysis can assist with supply chain planning, marketing, trading, procurement, and synthesizing disparate information.

Collectively, AI adds a more efficient dimension to many business processes, whether that’s examining data or producing forecasts. Warrington bases the master’s in management in AI program on these developments, equipping our students to perform these and more actions:

  • A comprehensive business curriculum: Completely new to business? The MSMAi gives you a tour of all fundamentals: financial accounting, professional communication, marketing, managerial statistics and accounting, organizational behavior, law and ethics, production, and operations management.
  • A five-course AI sequence for business managers: What’s the best way to drive productivity and results with AI? These courses reveal the answer as you get exposure to data and AI tools, including functions, plus legal and ethical considerations.
  • Serving Jacksonville-area professionals: In recent years, the number of individuals employed by a tech-based sector has spiked in Jacksonville. Available at UF’s downtown Jacksonville campus, MSMAi courses held after work and on weekends help area professionals remain competitive — whether they already work in tech or want to make a career change.
  • A customized education: Where, how, and what do you want to learn? MSMAi students can complete core requirements in person, online, or through synchronous participation. Based on your career stage, you’re encouraged to try out your business and AI skills with an internship or sign up for one of Warrington’s study abroad programs.

A pioneering education with an established network: MSMAi students benefit from all aspects of the Warrington experience — a forward-looking business education based on current applications, plus decades of alumni who know what you can deliver.
