This travel course offers an in-depth exploration of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, connecting students with startup founders, venture capitalists, and leaders from cutting-edge technology companies.

Learning objectives

  • Expose students to the culture and context of entrepreneurship and innovation in Silicon Valley, including challenges faced by early-stage startups and established firms.
  • Connect students with leading-edge venture capitalists, innovative firms, and alumni entrepreneurs to learn from their experiences and career paths.
  • Encourage self-reflection on entrepreneurial and career aspirations through exposure to Silicon Valley’s ecosystem.
  • Explore how successful entrepreneurs build and scale companies while maintaining innovation and a start-up mentality.

In addition to the program itself, students are encouraged to spend additional days in the Valley meeting with startups on their own, interviewing with firms and pitching investors.
