Finance Seminar Series – Emil Verner

Every semester, the Warrington College of Business hosts finance educators from around the country to share their research and interests in finance.

Emil Verner — Jerome and Dorothy Lemelson Professor of Management and Financial Economics and Professor of Finance, MIT Sloan School of Management. His research lies at the intersection of finance and macroeconomics, with a particular focus on the causes and consequences of financial crises. He also works on international economics and economic history, studying the linkages between the financial sector and the real economy.
