Yuchen Liu is an assistant professor in the Information Systems and Operations Management Department in the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington, Seattle. Before joining UF, she worked as an applied scientist at Amazon. Yuchen’s research examines the economics of digital consumption on community-based online platforms from two perspectives. First, she employs structural modeling techniques to study how IT-enabled platform designs shape users’ intertemporal behaviors and underlying decision-making processes. Second, her work investigates how information diffusion among users is influenced by information attributes and platform interventions. Her research has been published in leading Information Systems journals (e.g., Information Systems Research).
