Dr. Brian Swider is a Professor and the Beth Ayers MaCague Faculty Fellow at the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida. His research focuses on how and why employees enter and exit organizations, including topics such as recruitment, personality, employment interviews, withdrawal, and turnover. His work has been published in such journals as Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision ProcessesJournal of Management, Human Resource Management, Journal of Vocational Behavior, and Leadership Quarterly. His scholarly works have been cited in dozens of popular press outlets, including Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Harvard Business Review, The Today Show, New York Magazine, Forbes, Fast Company, Newsday, and Yahoo! Finance. Brian has received several awards for his research, including the Early Career Achievement Award from the Human Resources Division of the Academy of Management. He previously served as an Associate Editor for Personnel Psychology and Human Resource Management.
