Veena Garib is the Director of Employer Relations for Warrington College of Business, Business Career Services and brings over 18 years of experience in higher education, career services, employer relations, and leadership. She is passionate about connecting students, employers, and faculty for career development and talent acquisition. Before joining the Business Career Services team in 2022, Veena led career services efforts at various institutions including the University of Central Florida where she held the position of Associate Director, Employer Relations. Veena provides leadership to the employer relations team in establishing strategic plans, goals, policies, and procedures to effectively promote and deliver programs and services designed to connect students, industry partners, faculty, and staff. Veena earned her MBA and Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from UCF. Veena is an active member of the Florida Association of Colleges and Employers, Southern Association of Colleges and Employers, and National Association of Colleges and Employers.
