Welcome to your next chapter at the Heavener School of Business!   I am excited to support you on your journey as a Business Gator. My passion for academic advising is deeply rooted in my own educational experiences and the mentors who guided me along the way. As a first-generation college student, navigating higher education presented unique challenges. The support I received not only helped me understand how to succeed, but also inspired my commitment to helping others achieve their goals.   I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL, and my Masters in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Applied Cognition and Development from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. I began my career in higher education as an Academic Advisor at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK, where I supported students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, as well as those pursuing pre-professional tracks such as medicine, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. I later joined the University of Florida as an Academic Program Specialist in the Graduate School before transitioning to the Academic and Career Advising team here within the Warrington College of Business.   The Heavener School of Business offers a wide range of resources to support your success, and I’m excited to partner with you as you navigate your path at UF!
