Fisher Alumnus appointed to the AICPA Auditing Standards Board

Steven Morrison (BSAc ’99, MARE ’01), principal in the audit department of Miami-based MBAF, has been appointed to the AICPA Auditing Standards Board for 2015-2016. (11/10)

Fisher School mourns loss of alumnus

C. Harold Hippler, Jr. (BSBA ’55), an emeritus member of the Fisher School’s Advisory Board, passed away on June 13. (7/13)

Two Fisher grads winners of the 2014 Elijah Watt Sells Award

Fisher grads Kenneth Wilbur (BSAc ’14, MAcc ’14) and Robert Waldbillig (BSAc ’13) are winners of the 2014 Elijah Watt Sells Award. The award is bestowed upon candidates who have obtained a cumulative average score above 95.50 across all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination, passed all four sections of the Examination on their first attempt and completed testing in 2014. A total of 91,384 individuals sat for the Examination in 2014, with 60 candidates meeting the criteria to receive the Elijah Watt Sells Award. (3/31)
