MyFisher is designed to provide currently enrolled FSOA students with policies, procedures, and events unique to the School. It provides basic information needed to develop a plan of study, but is not designed to replace academic advising. Students seeking admission requirements for our degree programs should visit each program section of the website.

FSOA Students

Important Reminder: Module 3 graduate classes begin on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Semester-long classes, and undergraduate module classes, begin on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.

Holiday Break: The Fisher School of Accounting will be closed for the holiday break beginning at 2:00pm on Friday, December 23, 2016, and will reopen at 8:00am on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

Advising: Due to the heavy volume of traffic, we will not be responding to student emails or telephone inquiries beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2017, through Tuesday, January 10. If you are a current UF student and need assistance relating to the Spring 2017 semester, please report to 210 Gerson Hall between 8:30am and 4:00pm.

Undergraduate Students

Friday, December 16, 8:30am-1:00pm: Last day for Friday walk-in advising for undergraduates for the Fall 2016 semester.

Scholarship Opportunity

The Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA) 2017 Scholarships are awarded to students at the sophomore level or above who are enrolled in a university with an insurance program and whose course of study includes working toward a degree in Insurance Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Actuarial Science, or Risk Management. Internship Opportunities

Spring Internship: The Polo Club of Boca Raton is offering a paid, full time (40 hours/week), internship in their accounting department (1/3/17 through May 2017) to function as an Assistant Controller supporting the Director of Finance and CFO with all financial-related tasks. The ideal candidate would be a student attaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Summer Internships: The Bob Graham Center for Public Service’s Local Government Internship Program offers a variety of internships in City and/or County Manager offices across the state of Florida each summer. Interns receive on-the-job training in fields such as business/finance, engineering, landscape design and public administration.
