MyFisher is designed to provide currently enrolled FSOA students with policies, procedures, and events unique to the School. It provides basic information needed to develop a plan of study, but is not designed to replace academic advising. Students seeking admission requirements for our degree programs should visit each program section of the website.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Monday, March 23: Advanced Registration for Summer and Fall 2015 begins. Be sure to:
- Look on ISIS (Registration Prep in the menu) for your appointment time. Register at your scheduled appointment time so classes you need don’t fill up.
- Make sure all holds are removed from your records before attempting to register.
- Remember, when registering for a fall course for which a summer course is a pre-requisite, you must wait 24 hours after registering for the summer course before you can register for the fall course.
- To determine which module courses are offered, visit MAcc Course Availability.
SUMMER INTRODUCTORY ACCOUNTING COURSES ONLINE
During the summer, the Fisher School of Accounting provides UF students who are in on-campus programs but away from Gainesville with the opportunity to take Introduction to Financial Accounting (ACG 2021) and Introduction to Managerial Accounting (ACG 2071) online. Students are able to view campus lectures via streaming video and take exams proctored online. Campus-based students who are in Gainesville are not permitted to register for these courses. Tuesday, March 24, 6:15pm: Beta Alpha Psi will be having their officer elections and raffle meeting in Gerson 126. Important: If you are a Candidate who will be initiated this spring, please arrive at 5:30pm. Food will be provided after the meeting. Dress is business casual.
The Walter A. Friedly Memorial Scholarship Fund established through the Community Foundation of Broward has designated eight $1,586 scholarships for the 2015 fall semester. Applicants must be full-time, 4th or 5th year accounting students and residents of Broward County. In addition, the student must demonstrate financial need as determined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid. Deadline for application is April 1, 2015.
