Madrid is the capital and largest city of Spain, with a population of close to 4 million inhabitants. "It is epicenter of Spanish culture, business, and politics in Spain. It is home to most of the financial activities that take place in Spain, as well as being the seat of the country´s government and political activities. Courses

Students must choose a specialization [International Business (English & Spanish), Digital Business (English Only), or Sales & Marketing (English & Spanish)] and must take all courses assigned to that specialization.

Languages

Spanish is the official language spoken in Madrid. Courses at IE are taught in English, Spanish or Bilingual.

Credit Conversions & Grading

Minimum Credit Requirements

Must take all courses assigned to a specialization (specialization is equivalent to 12 UF credits).

Accommodation

IE does not have on-campus housing. Students must make their own housing arrangements. The IE student office can help with the housing search.

Madrid's central location in Spain allows easy access to surrounding cities or countries via high-speed train or plane. Madrid's international airport (Barajas) is the hub of many international airlines, including Ryan Air, that provide service throughout Europe.

  • Seville (2 hours by high speed train)
