Applications to the Ph.D. Program are accepted annually for the Fall term only. The information on this page is intended to help guide you through the application process.

Arrange to have official transcripts mailed from each postsecondary institution attended (not needed if only attended UF) and be sure to include your UF ID # on the sealed envelopes. Students applying from another state university in Florida should request from their Registrar's Office that the transcript be sent electronically.
International applicants must mail an official copy in the native language of each transcript or mark sheet, along with official English translations. In addition, they must mail a copy of the original or attested degree/diploma statement from each university or college attended, along with official English translations. Provisional degree certificates will not suffice. If you have questions regarding international transcripts, please send an email (international at ufl.edu).
Transcripts and degree/diploma statements must be mailed to the following address. Please do not mail any items to the Department. Do not email, fax or upload transcripts, as these are not considered official.
