Infrastructure Policy, Instruments and Approaches
October 15 - 16, 2004
World Bank staff serving East Asia and South Asia participated in a program that focused on the renewal of its loan program for developing country infrastructure. They also examined project selection, financial instruments, the use of output targets, methods for measuring results, and working with governments below the national level. PURC faculty prepared case studies on selecting utilities for reform efforts and on working with municipalities and states/provinces.
The World Bank enlisted the help of PURC Director Mark Jamison and Director of Water Studies Sanford Berg with this training program for 100 staff.
