November 1, 2005
Nassau, Bahamas
Utility professionals engaged in a discussion of strategic imperatives facing utility policy makers and regulators in the region during this workshop. They also examined the leadership challenges that these issues raise; discussed how to help customers and other stakeholders engage in dialogues about regulatory processes, customer needs and economic realities in providing utility services. The program emphasized leadership skills in identifying and confronting adaptive challenges, understanding the political landscape and recognizing one's own contributions to the problem.
In attendance were 26 participants from 7 nations. This program was delivered in partnership with Cambridge Leadership Associates and the Organisation of Caribbean Utility Regulators.
