Each year, PURC annual conference in Gainesville brings together key leaders in industry and academia, primarily from Florida and the Southeast.The purpose of this Conference was to explore makrket and technological convergence and their implicatins for regulation.The sessions included presentations on tramsnimmsion and emerging competition, local competition in telecommunications, and a roundtable discussion of regulatory issues. Current issues in energy efficicncy and telecommunications were also discussed.
