28th Annual PURC Conference: Alternative Futures for Energy and Telecommunications

Each year, PURC annual conference in Gainesville brings together key leaders in industry and academia, primarily from Florida and the Southeast.The purpose of this Conference was to explore whether previous visions of deregulation are reasonable, and to learn from the experiences of others. Plenary sessions focused on deregulation experiences in different states and included roundtable discussion of regulatory issues. The conference was followed by the Governor's Energy 2020 Study Commission Workshop where members met to discuss visions and planning for a comprehensive statewide energy policy.
