Leadership in Energy and Climate Policy seminar: Mobilizing for Action
February 14, 2009
Washington, DC, USA
Utility commissioners from the United States examined the leadership skills and frameworks needed to help the country confront issues, make difficult trade-offs, formulate policy changes where appropriate, and make attitude and behavioral changes when policy change is not enough. In the context of the substantive discussion of difficult and controversial issues, participants explored leadership questions and discovered new tools, resources and paradigms to face what many see as insurmountable challenges.
This executive development seminar was financially supported by PURC and offered free of charge to utility commissioners. PURC partnered with Cambridge Leadership Associates to offer the seminar. PURC Senior Fellow Bob Gee, president of Gee Strategies Group LLC, joined PURC Director Mark Jamison in leading the seminar.
