Implications of the Clean Power Plan

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency finalized a rule that would reduce CO2 emissions from existing power plants. States have a variety of strategies to meet this requirement. How will Florida adjust its power plan to meet this standard? Ted Kury, director of energy studies for the Public Utility Research Center (PURC), and Amy Stein from the Levin College of Law, whose legal focus is on clean energy, climate change and the environment, examined Florida's current energy policy and the need to diversify energy options in order to secure Florida's energy future.
