Campus Outreach

As part of the Campus Outreach Committee, our mission is to generate excitement among prospective students for the specialized master’s programs at the Hough Graduate School, Warrington College of Business. Through engaging presentations, active participation in campus clubs, and firsthand insights shared during information sessions, we connect with eager minds. Moreover, we lead efforts to promote program events by interacting with the broader Hough community, ensuring our offerings reach far and wide across campus.

Events
  • Information Sessions: Deliver information and exchange experiences with potential students through both in-person and online learning platforms. The Hough Ambassadors actively interact with interested individuals and assist in recruiting suitable candidates for the MIB, MSM, and MSMAR programs.
  • Tabling: Engage with the greater Hough community by showcasing exciting program events throughout the week at Hough Graduate School. Additionally, find us at Warrington College of Business events like Business Bash and Warrington Welcome Professional Development Summit. This initiative not only represents the specialized master’s program but also raises awareness of the combined and traditional degree options, all while fostering professional development and enhancing communication skills.
  • Campus Collaborations: Extend our presence beyond the Warrington College of Business by participating in events across the UF campus, contributing to the university community, and enlightening non-business majors about the degree options available.

Community Engagement

Volunteer and engage with the Gainesville community. This committee is responsible for growing the program’s network by identifying local leaders, organizations, and companies for collaboration, as well as planning community service-related events.

  • The Big Event: Ambassadors proudly took part in The Big Event—a citywide day of service dedicated to giving back to the Gainesville community. Led by University of Florida students, this annual tradition celebrates the spirit of the “Gator Good” by showing gratitude through meaningful service.
