Peer leader application
The Warrington Welcome Peer Leader application includes an online written application, video application, and a resume. Individuals selected to advance to the second round will be invited to a group interview. If you are selected for an interview, your Warrington Welcome instructors will be sent a short reference form on your behalf.
Why apply?
The Warrington Welcome Peer Leaders (PLs) is a passionate and driven community of 40 plus business students with different majors, interests, and backgrounds. In this community you have the unique opportunity to guide the newest generation of business Gators through your facilitation of the Business & You course.
New PLs have the opportunity to:
- Develop and facilitate a curriculum alongside a Warrington faculty member
- Attend monthly socials, forums, and workshops to connect with other PLs
- Volunteer at the Warrington Welcome Professional Development Summit and Human Library to network with student organizations and professionals
- And more!
Application process
The Warrington Welcome Peer Leader applications open on September 3rd and are due October 11th by 5:00 pm. Applications are for peer leaders teaching in the summer B 2025, fall 2025, or spring 2026 semesters for both on campus and virtual PaCE sections.
Warrington Welcome Peer Leader applicants should save the following dates:
- Interview preparation session: Thursday, October 17th @ 6:00 – 7:30pm
- Interviews: Monday, October 21st – Wednesday, October 23th
- Peer leader retreat: Friday, November 15th @ 12:00 – 5:00pm
Please note, if you are selected to be a peer leader, you are required to take the two-credit peer leader training course in the spring 2025 semester on Wednesdays periods 3-4 (9:35-11:30).
