Warrington Diplomats

Warrington’s frontline representatives

The Warrington Diplomats are the college’s official student ambassadors. These leaders are your connection to Warrington life, as well as tour guides for future generations of Business Gators.

Selected through a competitive process, Diplomats are top students who bring passion, energy, and insight to every interaction. They build a strong, welcoming community for all Gators through their tours, advocacy for current students, hosting of events and showcasing of college resources.

Diplomats support peers, promote engagement, and lead by example. Their impact reaches across campus and beyond the classroom.

Tours

During the fall and spring, Diplomats give in-person tours for prospective students and other guests.

All tours last approximately an hour, including a welcome video and presentation. You’ll explore the business college campus, meet current business students and have your questions answered.

After you sign up, please regularly check your email for a confirmation message as well as important updates regarding location and parking.

For day-of tour questions, contact us at 352-273-4950.

Diplomats cannot cover questions relating to admissions, such as academic requirements, applications, test scores or transfer credits. Those questions should be directed to UF Admissions.

UF Admissions schedules university tours while classes are in session. They are not offered during break weeks or state and university holidays.

Campus tours includes information sessions and a 90-minute guided walking tour  led by trained student tour guides.

However, the tour does not include the Warrington College of Business complex. Schedule your UF and Warrington tours in concert with one another.

It is great to be part of an organization where every individual member serves an integral purpose. The Warrington Diplomats have demonstrated they care about helping my personal and professional development in addition to supporting current and prospective Warrington students.

My time as a Diplomat was defined by significant professional growth. By guiding tours for prospective students and facilitating a variety of Warrington events, I developed my public speaking and leadership skills in real-life settings. The mentorship from Warrington faculty and older Diplomats was also impactful, especially as I prepared to graduate and transition into the working world. I treasure my time as a Diplomat!

My first experience on campus was through a Warrington Diplomats tour and ever since that moment, I’ve known that this was my home. Now as a Warrington Diplomat myself, I’m so grateful for the connections I’ve established and the best friends I’ve made.
