    Bio

    Matt grew up in New Orleans before attending the University of Texas at Austin and then New York University. He received his MBA in Finance from Baruch College (CUNY) in New York, where he discovered an interest in financial accounting. His research interests are analyst and investor information processing, the information content of earnings, market efficiency, and anomalies. He is a fifth year PhD candidate at the University of Florida.

    Bio

    Patrick attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he was a double major in Biochemistry and Economics. After graduation, he worked as an AmeriCorps member in Little Rock, Arkansas. He then attended The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University where he obtained a master’s of management degree. After graduating from Duke, Patrick worked as a research assistant to the accounting department at Fuqua. His research interests include financial statement analysis and financial reporting.

    Bio

    Andrew received a Bachelor of Science in management and Master’s degree in accounting from Boston College. After graduating, he joined Ernst & Young LLP in their Boston office. Following his time in public accounting he worked for Detwiler Fenton & Co., a broker-dealer providing channel research to institutional investors. Andrew is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts. His broad research interests include financial analysts and the information that drives capital markets. In his free time Andrew enjoys traveling and exploring the world.

    Bio

    Hyun grew up in Korea and Australia before starting his university education in Melbourne. Hyun received a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with honors in accounting) with double concentrations in Accounting and Finance from the University of Melbourne in 2010. He also completed his Master of Commerce (Finance) in Melbourne. Hyun’s research interests include financial statement analysis, managerial accounting, auditing and capital markets.

    Bio

    Eddie has a bachelor's degree from Claremont McKenna College and a master's of accountancy degree from Georgia College & State University. Before entering the PhD program at the University of Florida, he worked as an auditor for Butler, Williams & Wyche, LLP in Macon, Georgia. Eddie is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs. His research interests include auditing and professional ethics.

    Angie received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with double concentrations in Accounting (CPA track) and Finance from Goizueta Business School of Emory University in 2012. She also completed a major in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Japanese language in Emory. Angie’s research interests include capital markets, corporate disclosure incentives, and international accounting.

    Devin received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in accounting from Brigham Young University. He then went to work for Deloitte & Touche LLP in their Dallas, Texas office. Devin is a certified public accountant in the state of Texas and is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPAs. Devin's research interests include auditing, the demand for audit services, auditor specialization, and auditor competition.
